Menstrual Poverty Action

Connecting Girls, Changing Futures

Menstrual poverty affects over 500 million women and girls globally. It is not just a health issue—it is a matter of human rights, education, and environmental responsibility.

Menstrual Poverty Action is a global movement bridging girls in Ireland and the Western world with girls in developing countries, creating a community of solidarity, knowledge, and sustainable solutions.

Our Mission

We aim to educate, connect, and empower girls worldwide to end menstrual poverty together.

Educate

Provide menstrual health education to girls globally, including guidance on sustainable practices and hygiene management.

Connect

Build a sisterhood between girls in developed and developing countries, sharing stories, twining whilst breaking the stigma and fostering global empathy.

Empowering Her
